Actions taken in 2023

• Completed ISO14064-1 greenhouse gases inventory at 36 locations, reaching a coverage rate of 100%.
• Actively replaced worn equipment, and reduced overall electricity consumption in 2023 by 4% compared with 2022.
• Obtained ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 energy and environmental management system certification at 12 locations.
• The Head Office, Taichung subsidiary, and Kaohsiung subsidiary obtained ISO45001 occupational safety and health management systems certification.
• Offered 27 courses related to ESG series, with 11,739 course participants receiving 13,644 hours of training.

2024 targets

• Followed the guidance of parent company CTBC Holding to evaluate the purchase of renewable energies in 2023, and began to switch to green energy in 2024. 100% of Nangang HQ is expected to use green energy by 2025.
• In conjunction with CTBC Holding's SBTi targets, reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 13.5% compared with 2021.

Mid-term and long-term goals

• In conjunction with CTBC Holding's SBTi targets, reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 31.5% in 2028 compared with 2021.
• 100% of Nangang HQ to use green energy by 2025.
