Responsible Investment and Lending Management
We have formulated a Responsible Investment Policy and Responsible Investment Regulations in accordance with the six PRI to guide our daily operations. Furthermore, we established a dedicated unit for sustainable investment in 2021, responsible for our sustainable investment strategy, policy formulation, and process optimization, and we actively participate in internal and external forums and training activities.
In 2024, Taiwan Life established sustainable financial asset identification standards within its Responsible Investment Regulations to prevent potential greenwashing in financial asset disclosures. Additionally, Taiwan Life incorporated surveys based on the Guidelines for the Determination of Sustainable Economic Activities into its engagement questionnaires, encouraging invested and financed enterprises to comply with these guidelines and fulfilling our stewardship responsibilities as an institutional investor.
